Sine Die

One way or the other, it will all be over by midnight. and the star of the show of the 2014 regular session of the Georgia General Assembly may be the federal judge whose ruling forced state lawmakers to conduct their legislative business earlier than has become customary. He did it for reasons to do with fair elections and not to do with lawmaking, but never mind. His reach from the federal judicial branch into the state legislative branch forced Georgia’s state senators and representatives to concentrate their efforts and be done with them ‘on time’ this year. That alone makes this year’s session of the Georgia General Assembly a RISING boat.
