Deal Meets With Adelson
While in Las Vegas last week for the annual meeting of the Republican National Lawyers Association, Gov. Nathan Deal had a closed door meeting with billionaire casino owner, (and political kingmaker) Sheldon Adelson. You may remember Adelson from the 2012 Presidential race, where he essentially bankrolled Newt Gingrich’s campaign for several months. No word as to whether Adelson will make a similar commitment to another Georgian in Deal, but faced with stiff competition in November, a connection like this has to have the Governor’s ship RISING…
