DeKalb County Commissioner Resigns

Elaine Boyer, who has spent 22 years as DeKalb County Commissioner, resigned yesterday following a federal investigation into her use of taxpayer funds.  The AJC has reported that nearly $90,000 worth of personal expenses were paid for with her county purchasing card, including ski trips, airline booking, and personal phone bills.  More trouble for DeKalb – for the county and for Boyer the ship is SINKING…
