Minimum Wage Protests Lead to Arrests

Multiple protests took place outside of fast food restaurants in Atlanta yesterday, including one outside a midtown McDonald’s where around ten people were arrested for blocking Ponce de Leon Avenue.  The protesters are demanding a higher minimum wage from the current $7.25.  No word as to whether the protesters were told that it isn’t fast food restaurants who decide this sort of thing, but expect the issue to be brought up again at the State Capitol this upcoming session.  For these protesters, the ship is DRIFTING…
