Georgia Supreme Court Hears Strip Club Case

Oasis, a DeKalb County strip club, argued its case before the Georgia Supreme Court Tuesday, arguing that it should still have the right to serve alcohol while allowing fully nude dancing.  The lawyers for the city of Doraville, which annexed the portion of the county where Oasis resides in 2012, have said that nude performing is not protected by the Georgia Constitution.  The case rings back to that between the Pink Pony and the city of Brookhaven last year, which resulted in the club being allowed to continue operations while paying the city an annual fee of $225,000.  A tricky case that sees the future for both parties DRIFTING…
