On the transportation issue: Transportation remains relatively low among the issues Georgians are concerned about.  It seems that the most likely proposal that will gain voter acceptance would be the sales tax with a portion dedicated to transportation and a portion to property tax reduction. That said, I personally believe a strong case could be made for the motor fuel tax increase but that would require a real voter education process on the part of its proponents and quickly….

On the “Religious Freedom Bill”: This bill doesn’t have strong support or opposition at this time. But obviously if you substitute a specific religion, as we did with our follow-up question, and if it is a less popular one with Georgians, the legislation becomes very unpopular.
