State Sen. Fort Proposes Limitations on No-Knock Warrants
Bounkham, (Bou Bou) Phonesavanh was an infant when a police flash bang landed in his playpen during a police drug raid on his parents’ home in May 2014. This week Georgia State Senator Vincent Fort of Atlanta proposed SB 45 or “Bou Bou’s Law”, which would limit the issuing of a no-knock warrant to cases where human lives were at risk or if knocking would cause evidence to be destroyed.
