GA High School Graduation Rate Rises, But Still Trails
Long beleaguered by constant jabs at its education system, the state of Georgia has some good news to report: the high school graduation rate for the 2012-2013 school year has increased by two percent from 70% in 2011-2012. The Peach State had a high school graduation rate of 67% in 2011. The flip side is that Georgia is still tied with Alaska for 47th place.
