DeKalb Gaming Vote Struck From the Record
The DeKalb County Commission’s vote to approve a gaming resort featuring over 400 video gambling machines was invalidated Tuesday after it was revealed that no District Commissioner from the area was able to vote on the issue. The vote will be placed back on the commission agenda to be re-visited, but expect more opposition this time around now that elected officials have realized just how close the proposed resort comes to actual legalized gambling.
