No, We’re Not Joking

After weeks of going back and forth over irrelevant issues like education, transportation, and budgetary concerns, we’re finally getting to the important stuff.  House Bill 287,  sponsored by State Rep. Tom Kirby of Loganville, would prohibit the  mixing of human and jellyfish embryos.  From Kirby’s website, “The mixing of Human Embryos with Jellyfish cells to create a glow in the dark human, we say not in Georgia”.  Kirby admitted to WSB that he is not completely sure that such experiments are actually taking place in the state, but it’s always good to get in front of such issues because once jellyfish/human hybrids are walking the streets, it’s too late for humanity.  Not sure that we’ll need ships once we’re all half-jellyfish, but this one is currently SINKING…
