State House Passes Cannabis Bill
The Georgia State House voted 157-2 Wednesday in favor of Rep. Allen Peake’s HB 1, also known as the Haleighs Hope Act. A long time in the making, Speaker David Ralston said that, “I’ve never seen a member pass a finer piece of legislation” on Wednesday. Now the bill is on to the Senate.
