Gingrey Joins D.C. Lobbying Firm
Even with a one-year “cooling off” period, former Georgia Congressman Phil Gingrey will join Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP as a lobbyist. The Marietta Republican, who placed fourth in the May 2014 Republican Senate primary, will work out of the firm’s Washington office to lobby his former colleagues in Congress on various matters from education to healthcare. Another former Georgia Republican, Sen. Saxby Chambliss, joined DLA Piper in Atlanta as a senior adviser several months ago.
