Hope for HB 1
After passing the Georgia Senate Tuesday afternoon, House Bill 1, or “Haleigh’s Hope Act”, now heads back to the State House for approval before it can go to Governor Deal for his signature. Among the senators voting no was state Sen. Lindsey Tippins (R-Marietta); Tippins is the sponsor of SB 185 which greatly restricts who would receive cannabis oil treatments.
