Falcons Stadium Price Continuing to Soar
Remember when Arthur Blank told us that the new stadium for the Atlanta Falcons would cost just under $1 billion? Yeah, its been a long time. Although nobody is surprised that the estimated cost has increased, a $600 million increase is a bit much. The new stadium, slated to open in 2017, is projected to cost about $1.5 billion… right now. The good news is that taxpayers won’t be on the hook for these new costs. Although the franchise’s future on the field is uncertain, the cost of its new home is definitely RISING…
