In 2007 Linda Klein became the first woman to head the State Bar of Georgia. Now the American Bar Association has named the Atlanta lawyer as its president-elect. The managing shareholder in Baker Donelson’s Georgia offices, she now assumes the role of president-elect and will become ABA president in August 2016. In her acceptance speech, Klein called on the profession to mentor younger lawyers and to work to ensure access to justice for all.
