Macon Mayor Robert Reichert is pushing for a rail line between his city and Atlanta, saying that an 85 mile link between the two cities is ‘essential’ and that studies have shown such a rail line would only cost some $400 million.  Something tells me that this desire is a bit one-sided though, and that Atlanta is better served focusing on its own transportation woes than worrying about a town an hour and a half to the South.  For now this plan is DRIFTING…
