State School Superintendent Richard Woods, a former history teacher, pledges that every fourth grader in Georgia will receive a pocket copy of the U.S. Constitution, which also includes the preamble to the Declaration of Independence and the Pledge of Allegiance. “I was pretty excited because I had never read the Constitution before,” said a student who received one at Midway Elementary School in Forsyth County.
