The news that flowing water exists on Mars has been all over the news this week, and a major part in making that discovery is owed to researchers at Atlanta’s own Georgia Institute of Technology.  Luju Ojha and his colleagues used a device called a spectrometer to examine infrared light signatures reflected off of steep rock faces in craters on the Red Planet, discovering dark marks that turned out to be flowing water from ice melting.  An exciting discovery with some of Georgia Tech’s brightest minds at the center sees the university’s ship RISING…
