Atlanta paid deadbeat $910,00 for virtually no work
It’s outrageous that Atlanta taxpayers paid Foris Webb $910,000 for two years even though he produced little record any “work.” After reviewing invoices and emails, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution found he was supposed to be overseeing a petition calling for a vote on the Atlanta police/fire training center. Yet by the time the “consulting contract” was discovered and payments were being made, the center had opened, the referendum never occurred and petition signatures were forgotten. Mayor Andre Dickens and the City Council are blaming each other, but who issued this no-work contract to Webb? No one knows—for now. This incredible taxpayer rip off has Atlanta SINKING…
