State Rep. Allen, Peake, R-Macon, who recently stepped down as one of Gov. Nathan Deal’s floor leaders due to disagreement over 2016 legislative priorities, is engaging with Georgians for Freedom in health Care and other allies on a media/public relations campaign in support of in-state medical marijuana cultivation under strict regulations.

The accompanying link is a PSA video being sent around Georgia to the media, state lawmakers and others. Peake wants to move forward on his cultivation bill and claims a lot of support and enthusiasm.  “We are confident the case can be made to the governor that there is no security concern,” a Peake ally tells InsiderAdvantage.

Whether the House leadership will allow the Peake legislation to move forward is another matter.
