State Rep. Allen Peake’s H.B. 722, which would allow for small amounts of medical marijuana to be grown by state-licensed cultivators in the state as well as allowing for more Georgians to use medical cannabis if they have certain specific diagnoses, is off to a fast start after one day of the 2016 session.  Already 90 legislators have signed the bill, a huge total for a bill that was expected to face quite a fight during the session.  Still much work to do to pass the bill, but with this early momentum H.B. 722 is RISING…
