President Barack Obama announced this week his intent to appoint MARTA CEO Keith Parker to the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, a thirty person group which advises the Secretary of Homeland Security on the security and information systems of ‘critical infrastructure sectors’. Congressmen dodge antisemitism vote
This week the U.S. House passed a resolution condemning antisemitism in the U.S., which has seen an uptick as tensions have risen after war broke out between Israel and Hamas. The final tally was 311 in favor, 14 opposed, and 92 voting ‘present,’ including Democratic Reps. Hank Johnson of Lithonia, Lucy McBath of Marietta and Nikema Williams of Atlanta.
