President Barack Obama announced this week his intent to appoint MARTA CEO Keith Parker to the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, a thirty person group which advises the Secretary of Homeland Security on the security and information systems of ‘critical infrastructure sectors’.  Quite an honor for Parker, who has seen his profile rise alongside the transit system he heads up.  As the debate on expanding MARTA rages on under the Gold Dome, Parker’s ship is RISING…
