The Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin, which takes up a large part of Georgia and provides water for Alabama and Florida as well, was named this week as the nation’s “most endangered river” by the advocacy group America’s Rivers.  The conflict between Georgia and Florida is at the heart of the problem, with the latter accusing the former of over-consumption and outdated management protocol.  While rains in recent years have kept the issue from really flaring up, a drought could pose a threat to both states.  For the states who need the water and the legislators tasked with figuring out how to best manage it, the ship is DRIFTING…
