The state of Georgia ranked 32nd per capita among the 41 states that have a state income tax, per data from the Tax Foundation. Georgians pay an average of $832 for income taxes per year, one of the higher totals in the southeast but still lower than states like North Carolina and Virginia. New York man arrested over threats to Mike Collins
Georgia law enforcement officials traveled all the way up to Buffalo, New York this week to arrest a man charged with making death threats to U.S. Rep. Mike Collins and his son-in-law. The suspect faces two counts of terroristic threats. “No American should have to worry that their home could be the next Butler, Pennsylvania or Utah Valley University,” said Collins after the arrest, referring to the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and attempted assassination of then-candidate Donald Trump.
