Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed is considering putting a .1% sales tax increase on the ballot on November to fund arts in the city.  The hike would add an estimated $10-15 million to state coffers.  There are already millions of taxpayer dollars devoted to the arts though, and voters may be leery to add on to a sales tax that is already soaring after the transportation additions in recent years.  Atlanta needs its art, but adding even more of a burden to taxpayers is an idea that is DRIFTING…
