HB 452 authored by state rep. Jesse Petrea, R-Savannah, passed the House Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday. The fourteen bipartisan members in attendance sent it to the Rules Committee with unanimous consent. The one-page bill requires GBI to share information it is receiving from ICE on the release from federal custody of criminal aliens.
