The word transportation is too often synonymous with Atlanta in Georgia, but other parts of the state are likewise devoting big time money to improving their infrastructure. Earlier this month the Macon Area Transportation Study Policy Committee approved a $900 billion plan that contains road projects and upgrades all the way through 2040. Congressmen dodge antisemitism vote
This week the U.S. House passed a resolution condemning antisemitism in the U.S., which has seen an uptick as tensions have risen after war broke out between Israel and Hamas. The final tally was 311 in favor, 14 opposed, and 92 voting ‘present,’ including Democratic Reps. Hank Johnson of Lithonia, Lucy McBath of Marietta and Nikema Williams of Atlanta.
