While the Georgia peach crop suffers from a historically bad harvest, things are looking up for another of the state’s biggest cash crops.  High rainfall and cool temperatures this spring have led an 18% increase in peanuts planted so far this year, boding well for a great year for the industry.  A warm winter may not have been great for peaches, but for the state’s many peanut farmers a good planting season has the ship RISING…
