President Donald Trump, based on advice from Georgia’s U.S. senators Johnny Isakson and David Perdue, has nominated former prosecutor and ex-state Rep. B.J Pak and Albany attorney Charlie Peeler to be U.S. attorneys subject to Senate confirmation. Pak will head the federal prosecutorial team in Atlanta while Peeler takes over in middle Georgia. Insiders tell us a third Republican lawyer, former prosecutor Bobby Christine of Columbia County, is the favorite to be nominated for the district stretching from Augusta through Savannah.  Watch for a reform shake-up in all of these U.S. attorney offices. And expect aggressive prosecutions in line with Trump administration priorities, which will have the boats of these federal prosecutors RISING…
