Not a minute too soon, lighting is coming to Atlanta’s Eastside Beltline. The fixtures come as part of a ‘Light the Line’ initiative that seemed to have stalled out over the past year, but officials last week said that the lights would be installed in early 2018. New York man arrested over threats to Mike Collins
Georgia law enforcement officials traveled all the way up to Buffalo, New York this week to arrest a man charged with making death threats to U.S. Rep. Mike Collins and his son-in-law. The suspect faces two counts of terroristic threats. “No American should have to worry that their home could be the next Butler, Pennsylvania or Utah Valley University,” said Collins after the arrest, referring to the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and attempted assassination of then-candidate Donald Trump.
