Georgia top 10 for solar power

In what would have been almost unthinkable a half-decade ago, Georgia has become a top 10 state in terms of solar power production, increasing some 13x since 2013.  Without much legislation or even tax credits, much of the uptick has come from a partnership between the state’s Public Service Commission and utility Georgia Power that resulted in the installation of hundreds of megawatts of solar farms.  That partnership, along with a rising desire for alternative energy and support from local leaders, has Georgia’s future as a solar energy producer RISING…
