The GOP primary race between state Rep. Dan Gasaway (R-Homer) and challenger Chris Erwin may have to have a do-over, say state officials. The contest, which Erwin won by just 67 votes, has been marred by reports of hundreds of Habersham County voters being assigned to incorrect districts. Gasaway, rightfully incensed, has called for a recount, and now the case sits in Fulton County Superior Court where a judge will determine how best to proceed. National Rifle Association salutes Mike Collins
As campaign season ramps up, the National Rifle Association (NRA) is hitting the trail with its Gun Bus Battleground Tour, where it will visit 13 battleground states backing candidates it says are staunch defenders of the 2nd Amendment. One of those is here in Georgia in U.S. Rep. Mike Collins, running for U.S. Senate against Democrat Jon Ossoff.
