Dean Charles Davis of the University of Georgia’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication tweeted a congratulatory message to childhood friend Brian Kemp on becoming the state’s Republican nominee for governor. He even called Kemp a “nice guy.” But the political Left became hysterical, typified by tweets calling Davis a “racist” for supporting another “racist.” Sad to say, the cowardly dean caved, saying: “I’d like to apologize to anyone offended by my tweet shout out to Brian Kemp… I’ve read and learned so much from you all and will endeavor to be more thoughtful.” Learned what? How to appease haters? The UGA educator could have used the attacks for a teaching moment. He could have stood by his friend and called for civility and “tolerance” (once a slogan of the Left) as well as respect for differing opinions in a democratic society. But the dean blew it, and his ship is SINKING…
U.S. Justice official: Willis case ‘is disgusting’
A new undercover video from journalist Steven Louder revealed Nicholas Biase, the U.S. Justice Department’s public affairs chief, calling New York City charges brought against Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump a “travesty of justice,” adding this was why Trump is surging in the polls. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg got Trump convicted for falsifying business records. But Biase says the Democrat DA “was stacking charges … just to make it fit a case. I think the case (against Trump) is nonsense.” Addressing the election case brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, Biase said: “It’s a mockery of justice. She is a joke. Like, her and her boyfriend she was seeing, the whole thing is disgusting. And they’re just out to get [Trump].” SINKING…
