Special session won’t look at gov.’s race

Governor Nathan Deal assured reporters Tuesday that next month’s special session would not be used to curtail the next governor’s power should Democrat Stacey Abrams win.  North Carolina recently did just that following Dem. Roy Cooper’s victory, but Deal said this session will purely be used to facilitate relief for those most impacted by Hurricane Michael.  Next Tuesday’s results are still very much up in the air, but Deal making sure the session is strictly focused on Georgians has his and his state’s ship RISING…
