Cobb County Assistant District Attorney Hannah Palmquist this week was named by Georgia AG Chris Carr as the head of the state’s new Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit.  Fighting human trafficking has been a key issue for Carr and other state officials in recent years, and the hope is that this new unit, under Palmquist’s capable leadership, will take the reins in combating the practice.  Georgia’s location as a transportation hub makes it particularly vulnerable to human trafficking violations, so an impetus on putting competent leaders in charge of fighting it has the state’s ship RISING…
