Atlanta paid deadbeat $910,00 for virtually no work
It’s outrageous that Atlanta taxpayers paid Foris Webb $910,000 for two years even though he produced little record any “work.” After reviewing invoices and emails, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution found he was supposed to be overseeing a petition calling for a vote on the Atlanta police/fire training center. Yet by the time the “consulting contract” was discovered and payments were being made, the center had opened, the referendum never occurred and petition signatures were forgotten.
