For years local officials have made promises that street lights were coming to the popular Eastside BeltLine – and now it appears they actually are. The Light the Line initiative started back in 2016, with the goal of installing lights along much of the BeltLine between Krog and Ponce, where dark spots have lead to increased crime. Now a combined effort using funds from the Georgia Department of Transportation, TSPLOST funds, and private donations will see installation start later this month. For the 11th consecutive year, beloved Atlanta-based fast food giant Chick-fil-A took home top honors from the American Customer Satisfaction Index.
