More bad news from DeKalb County this week, as the DeKalb County School District lost its fourth spokesperson in sixth months. In April Superintendent Steve Green eliminated two communications positions, moving Eileen Houston-Stewart and Andre Riley to “special assignments.” Shumuriel Ratliff moved to Fulton County Schools in the Summer, and now R. Scott Belzer, a former reporter who has been speaking for the school system since 2017, has announced his departure. For the 11th consecutive year, beloved Atlanta-based fast food giant Chick-fil-A took home top honors from the American Customer Satisfaction Index.
