Just in time for Halloween, a recent study from review site Yelp listed Savannah as the nation’s most haunted city. Ghastly landmarks include the Marshall House, now a hotel but at one point a Civil War hospital, and the Bonaventure Cemetery, featured in the 1994 novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, this recognition is a win for Savannah, which continues to be one of the top tourist destinations in the Southeast, bringing in more than 15 million visitors a year – including ghost hunters! The Atlanta Falcons have not made the playoffs since the 2017 season, an eon in football terms, but hope springs eternal for the franchise as it is projected to win its division behind new star quarterback Kirk Cousins and new Head Coach Raheem Morris.
