Just in time for Halloween, a recent study from review site Yelp listed Savannah as the nation’s most haunted city.  Ghastly landmarks include the Marshall House, now a hotel but at one point a Civil War hospital, and the Bonaventure Cemetery, featured in the 1994 novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.  Whether you believe in ghosts or not, this recognition is a win for Savannah, which continues to be one of the top tourist destinations in the Southeast, bringing in more than 15 million visitors a year – including ghost hunters!  So while typically being haunted would be a bad thing, in this case it has Savannah’s ship RISING…
