Conservation hasn’t been a huge topic so far in Gov. Brian Kemp’s time in office, but starting this month, it is a focus.  Kemp has declared December to be North Atlantic Right Whale Awareness Month, dedicated to raising awareness of the state’s official marine mammal which breeds off the coast.  Only around 400 of the creatures remain, and their death rate has increased in recent years.  Hopefully though with a renewed focus from the governor and his capable team, their future will be RISING…
