Stone Mountain state Senate candidate Sabrina McKenzie may have been disqualified from her race after her qualifying check bounced, but she has continued to campaign and raise money. She was originally investigated by the state ethics commission in 2018 when she did not submit fundraising disclosures, but still managed to come within 120 votes of defeating Senate Minority Leader Steve Henson (D-Stone Mountain) in the Democratic primary.
