One winner in the COVID-19 pandemic is a major Georgia cash crop – peanuts.  This year the peanut industry has seen a 24 percent uptick on exports, and a 3.3 percent increase on domestic consumption.  Local farmers are planning to plant more crops this year to keep up with demand.
