Gwinnett County officials are in hot water this week after it was found they bought four $30,000 temperature scanners made in China that as it turns out are not able to tell if people have fevers.  The scanners were sold by RedSpeed USA but made by Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co., a Chinese company barred from selling to federal agencies in 2018, but not from pitching products to local governments.  An expensive mistake from Gwinnett officials, who were trying to look toward coronavirus recovery but purchased expensive devices not rated for medical use – their boat is SINKING…
