2020 has been a weird year. A bad year. And in Macon – some disturbing numbers might make it one of the worst on record. The city recorded 31 homicides by July 5th, a total that exceeds the full-year number for every other year in the past decade but one. It also puts it on pace to surpass the modern-day high of 43 in 1992, (there were 42 in 2018). Former federal prosecutor tapped for Army post
Former U.S. Attorney Bobby Christine has been called up by the Trump Administration once again, this time to serve as Judge Advocate General for the U.S. Army. That would make him the head of the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, better known as JAG, the legal arm of the Army.
