Practicing law is often seen as boring, but U.S. Attorney BJay Pak is taking on cases straight out of an Oscar-winning drama. His latest case involves foiling a plot by defense contractor Batur Ustol to steal military blueprints from the U.S. military. Atlanta-based Ustol, along with several co-conspirators, obtained blueprints for military schematics from the Department of Defense and then tried to sell faulty parts, which they falsely claimed were made in the U.S. Had the parts gone into production, they could have seriously injured or killed U.S. military personnel.
