Valdosta Mayor Scott James Matheson recently had ethics charges leveled against him for hosting a politically conservative radio talk show, something his critics said were violating city ethics rules. The city’s ethics board however disagreed, voting 2-1 to dismiss the complaint, saying Matheson’s political speech was protected by the First Amendment. Matheson took the high road regarding the political attack from his left-leaning rivals, saying to “Come see me, we’ll work together to solve whatever actual problem, not the problems with me, an individual’s problems with me, but we’ll solve whatever actual problems they see in this community.” His ship is RISING…

For the 11th consecutive year, beloved Atlanta-based fast food giant Chick-fil-A took home top honors from the American Customer Satisfaction Index.
