One profession in Georgia is in demand more than any other – and it’s got the receipts to prove it.  Coming out of the COVID pandemic there is a shortage of nurses throughout the state, and some hospitals are offering big bonuses to lure new employees.  Piedmont Hospital, one of the state’s largest health systems, has offered $30,000 sign-on bonuses, and many nursing homes are offering $10,000 in the face of a nursing shortfall.  And unsurprisingly, rural hospitals are facing the worst of the shortages.  If you’re a nurse or considering nursing school, your future is RISING, but for much of the state a serious shortage has hospitals SINKING…
