U.S. Rep. Sanford Bishop (D-GA02) announced this week that the city of Albany has been selected to receive a total of $330,000 in Brownfields Revolving Loan Funding (RLF) grants from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to help rehabilitate blighted local properties.  RLF grants work by giving out money to restore contaminated properties, and then when the loans are repaid once the properties are fixed up the money is re-lent back to another part of the local community.  Securing funding to help clean up blighted parts of Albany have Bishop and his constituents in Southwest Georgia RISING…
