Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and Sherriff Patrick Labatt slammed the Fulton Board of Commissioners at a meeting earlier this month over the mounting case backlog that they say will result in hundreds of violent criminals released back on city streets if not addressed.  The county’s backlog is now over 200,000 cases, a staggering number, and both Willis and Labatt say a clogged county bureaucracy means that their departments face burnout and lack of funding. Fulton’s DA and sheriff being underfunded and undersupported by a County Commission majority have those commissioners SINKING…
