The Tokyo Summer Olympics are just getting going, but University of Georgia athletes are already making a major impact. 30 UGA athletes are competing in the games, with five, all swimmers, already earning medals. Most notable among them is Chase Kalisz, who won gold in the 400 IM. The rest of the games will feature more UGA swimmers, golfers, tennis players, and a host of track and field athletes – the school’s athletic program is RISING in Tokyo.
Democratic Socialists open Atlanta office
As Democratic Socialists continue to carve out a far-left foothold within the broader Democratic Party, they’re putting down roots in Georgia with the opening of a new Atlanta office. The Georgia legislature currently has one Democratic Socialist, state Rep.
